John T. "Jack" Lewis

On Monday, Jan 10th, 2000, I lost a good friend by the name of Jack Lewis. Jack was born July 24th, 1925 in Philadelphia, and lived a full life. He was a partner in Jack's Sunshine Shop Tanning Center, Wintersville,Oh, a repair man for the Repair Plus Jewelry Box, Ft Steuben Mall, Ohio, and a retired foreman at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp's basic oxygen furnace operation at Mingo Junction, Ohio. He was Catholic by faith at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Wintersville, Ohio and was a member of the American Legion Post 557, Wintersville, Ohio.

Jack was a breeder and showman of championship Irish Wolfhounds and a member of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America for over 40 years. He was a World War II veteran of the US Army.

In Memoriam - Jack Lewis

Jack was a good friend and was always there for me when I needed him. His advice helped me greatly in my competitve career and in life in general. I will miss him greatly.
